Celebi Aviation India gets contract for Ground holding services at Chennai airport

MUMBAI- The Celebi Airport Service India has bagged the ground handling (GH) contract at Chennai International Airport. On 13th December the company got confirmation from director of Airport Authority of India (AAI), Chennai about the contract.

Celebi gets GH contract at Chennai Airport

The contract will allow a Turkey based Aviation holding company to provide complete ground handling related support to both scheduled and charter airlines at domestic and international terminals.

Earlier the company was named as Celebi Ground Handling Delhi Pvt. ltd. As it was operating at Delhi International Airport. But today the company not only has changed its name but also its aim to provide Ground handling services at various Indian airports.

Currently, Celebi Airport services India operates at 9 Airports. This includes Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Cochin, Kannur, Hyderabad, Goa, Ahmedabad and now Chennai.

On this special feat, Mr. Murali Ramachandran, CEO of Celebi India is very optimistic about growing aviation Industry in India, he further added,

“We understand the needs of the airlines and the growing aviation industry in India and are well equipped to meet current and future airline and passenger traffic. We will provide the much-awaited quality ground handling services at Chennai and develop a sustainable ecosystem to meet the larger goal of the aviation industry to become carbon neutral in the very near future.”

Another Milestones

They have received a contract to provide its airport related services at Newly PM Narendra Modi inaugurated Manohar International Airport at Mopa, Goa. The International Airport is named after India’s Ex Defense and Goa’s ex CM Manohar Parekhar Ji.

Also, it has won the bridge-mounted equipment services deal for Kempagowda International airport at Bangalore. They have also introduced 100% electric, air-conditioned tarmac coaches for travelers’ transportation at the Delhi International Airport.
