The Asia Pacific Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards presented by the Airports Council International (ACI) have named Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) as the “Best Airport over 40 million passengers” for the year 2022.

The designation “Best Airport” has been given to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) for six years running. Because they are based on customer reviews, the ASQ Awards are well-regarded in the airport sector.
It is a step in the process of making the airport a 100% green, sustainable energy consumption. Also, the airport installed fast charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) and welcomed approximately 45 EVs.

On the day of travel, travelers are surveyed as part of the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) surveys, which are undertaken in airports all over the world.
The CSMIA is a pioneer in introducing new technological advancements and was honored with “The Voice of the Customer” by ACI in 2021 as well. It has also won the Best Airport by Size and Area in the category for airports serving more than 40 million passengers six times in a row.
