IndiGo Cabin Crew Viral Video
In a viral video, we can see hearing both Passenger and Indigo cabin crew shouting at each other. First, she tried to explain the passenger about the pre-menu meals, and something related to the meal served on board.
She heard saying,” You are pointing finger on me and yelling one, My Crew is crying because of you, please understand that there are cards, there are counters, we can only serve what you prebook.”
In response to these passengers shouted and said,” Why are you yelling?” and crew replied, ” because you are yelling on us, I’m so sorry sir but you cannot talk to the crew like that. I’m Peacefully listening with all due respect, but you have to respect the crew.”
Passenger again said, you shut up and you are servant and crew replied,” I’m an employee here and not your servant.”

Jet Airways CEO response
The Jet Airways CEO Sanjiv Kapoor also responded to the incident and tweeted, “As I had said earlier, crew are human too. It must have taken a lot to get her to breaking point. Over the years I have seen crew slapped and abused on board flights, called “servant” and worse. Hope she is fine despite the pressure she must be under.”
It’s clear he supported the Aviation person as he understands what it takes to be there and after so much disrespect and humiliation, they break their silence. It’s there Breaking point, they are human as well.
Bottomline
Because Indigo is low-cost carrier, to keep the fares affordable they do lots of cost cutting. One of that things is book your meal before boarding the flight to save weight of extra meals. Thats the standard practice and is much important especially on such long distance flight.
While it is not clear whether the tussle started because the crew refused to provide meals or if they didn’t have extra food to serve onboard, the Internet’s response regarding the incident was crystal clear.
