Delhi, 11th December, Mr. Sanjiv Kapoor, CEO of Jet Airways in his recent travel experience by using Digi yatra App. He rated the Newly launched Digi Yatra app based on facial recognition technology, 9 out of 10.
Digi Yatra App is created by Digi Yatra Foundation (DYF) to provide Seamless, Hassle-Free and Health-Risk-Free Air Travel for you. Digi Yatra Foundation (DYF) is a nonprofit company under sect 8 of companies Act 2013 incorporated on 20 Feb 2019.
Jet Airways CEO Sanjiv Kapoor Experience
Sanjiv Kapoor was excited about using the service for first time and shared his experience on micro blogging platform.
He said, “Will be trying Digi Yatra for the first time tomorrow. Setting it up is fairly easy once you set up Digi locker. Loading boarding pass was a little trickier, required 2 or 3 attempts. Look forward to seeing how it works in practice on the ground.”
And after finally experiencing the App at Airport, he rated it 9 out of 10 and said, “So my #Digiyatra experience so far: 9/10. Once a few UI issues and kinks are worked out, it will be a huge boon for travelers.”
While commenting about it, he praised the staff at Indira Gandhi Delhi International Airport (IGI).”The dedicated Digi Yatra Lane at DEL T3 was operational and staffed. Lots of envious looks from other pax in the regular line. Staff was very helpful.”

He Further said, “Dedicated Digi Yatra Lane at @DelhiAirport was open and working. The face ID worked instantly and perfectly, no need to scan BP again.”


To conclude, the overall experience of Jet Airways CEO was smooth, and He highlighted various aspects on his twitter account. He was traveling from DEL to GOI Airport, probably to participate in an inauguration of New Goa International Airport in Mopa.
The New Goa International Airport is scheduled to be inaugurated today by PM Narendra Modi. The airport Projects to serve 5 million passengers per year and once fully operational it can serve up to 13 million passengers per year. The single runway airport with runway length of 3.7 KM or 12,303 Ft is expected to start its operation by 5th Jan 2023.

The Govt of India (GOI) and Ministry of Civil aviation (MoCA) launched Digi Yatra App on 1st December 2022.
Delhi Airport is among the first few airports to introduce this system in India. DIAL had installed the required facility at T3 of Delhi Airport and already conducted its trials. Nearly 20,000 travelers had a smooth and secured travel experience after using the facility during the trials.

The technology will make the boarding process significantly Quicker and smoother as each passenger would need less than 3 sec at every point. Their face will act as their documents, like ID proof, Vaccine proof and also act as a boarding pass (BP).
