After hiring Tata Projects as the EPC contractor, excavation work has started at the Noida International Airport project site.
The runway, terminal, and ATC tower development has reportedly started and will continue in full force, according to officials.
Tata Projects Ltd. has been chosen by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) to handle the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of Noida International Airport.

The business was chosen from a shortlist of three teams that had a track record of designing, acquiring, and building significant infrastructure projects.
According to officials, Tata Projects would build Noida International Airport‘s terminal, runway, airside infrastructure, roadways, utilities, landside facilities, and other ancillary buildings.
The Noida International Airport will develop a cutting-edge, user-friendly design that is influenced by Indian culture by fusing Indian hospitality and technology with Swiss efficiency.
Another development, according to the officials, is that ICAD Holding Ltd. has been chosen as the Master System Integrator consultant for Noida International Airport by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL).

The systems integration design, integration programme management, and integration of ICT and airport systems would all be supported by ICAD for Noida International Airport.
ICAD will take the lead in implementing and integrating the primary airport systems.
According to a senior official of the YIAPL, Noida International Airport would set a new standard for digital airports by implementing cutting-edge technology to ensure a smooth and largely frictionless movement through the airport.
The passenger terminal will take into account factors like adherence to minimal environmental impact, quick and effective passenger movements, and digital services.
India’s Noida International Airport would be a digital airport that supports contactless travel and offers specialised services for business, leisure, and senior citizens as well as families.
A senior executive of Yamuna International Airport stated, “We are working with Tata Projects to build a passenger terminal, runway, and other airport facilities with a capacity of 12 million passengers annually, by 2024.
