The oneworld Alliance will join oneworld founding member American Airlines in relocating its worldwide headquarters to Fort Worth, Texas, enhancing the Dallas-Fort Worth area as a hub of aviation excellence.
The oneworld global headquarters, which is now in New York City, will relocate to Fort Worth as of December 2022, joining American on its 300-acre, cutting-edge Robert L. Crandall Campus close to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

The Flight Academy, DFW Reservations Center, Training and Conference Center, Robert W. Baker Integrated Operations Center, CR Smith Museum, and an office building housing the airline’s management and support workers are all located on American’s campus, known as Skyview.
The alliance’s mission to provide more value for its member airlines and consumers will be further accelerated by sharing space with founding member American Airlines, the world’s largest airline.
Rob Gurney, who was appointed CEO in 2016, will continue to serve as the head of the oneworld central management team.
Dallas-Fort Worth, which provides roughly 900 daily flights to more than 260 destinations, is one of the oneworld network’s hubs that is expanding most quickly.
DFW serves seven other oneworld airlines in addition to being the largest hub for American Airlines: Alaska Airlines, British Airways, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Qatar Airways, and Qantas.
In the previous year, Finnair and Iberia have introduced additional service to DFW, taking advantage of the strength of American’s network at its principal hub.
“It’s go time in Fort Worth, and we’re focused on growing jobs and creating opportunity for everyone”
Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker
Fort Worth will benefit greatly from the inclusion of oneworld. Our region is well-connected to the rest of the globe thanks to American and other oneworld airlines, and this connection is one of the reasons why Fort Worth is such a desirable location for corporate expansion.
I’m interested in what the future will bring now that American and Oneworld have a shared residence in Fort Worth.

“With our new headquarters in Fort Worth, we anticipate even tighter collaboration with American and our member airlines as we work side by side to further grow and improve oneworld”
oneworld CEO Rob Gurney stated
